The oncology department (sector for radiotherapy) of the University Medical Centre Maribor has a vacancy for medical physicist – trainee for the duration of the traineeship. Education requirements: M.Sc. (physics) or M.Sc. (medical physics).

Description of work: radiation treatment planning, absolute and relative dosimetry, quality assurance and verification, maintenance of dosimetry software and hardware, responsibility for professional work and legal matters, and other work at the request of the manager. The trainee will perform the work under the supervision of the mentor.

Two Job openings for medical physicists at the Institute of Oncology

The Radiotherapy sector of the department of radiophysics at the Institute of Oncology in Ljubljana is announcing two Job openings for the position of Medical Physics Intern. Both positions require minimum education level VII/2, univ. dipl. fiz.

The description of work and tasks is as follows: irradiation planning, absolute and relative dosimetry, quality assurance and verification, care for software and hardware dosimetry, responsibility for professional work and legality, and other work at the request of the manager. The trainee will perform the work under the supervision of the mentor.

Two vacancies for medical physicists in the radiotherapy sector

Institute of Oncology Ljubljana, Radiotherapy sector of the Radiophysics Department, has two open positions: Medical Physicist and Medical Physicist Trainee. Required education: M.Sc. (physics, medical physics).

The first (permanent) position requires a one-year internship in medical physics and a professional exam. Another position is open for a fixed period of 12 months.

The description of work and tasks is as follows: radiation treatment planning, absolute and relative dosimetry, quality assurance and verification, mantainance of software and hardware dosimetry equipment, responsibility for professional work and legal matters, and other work as directed by the manager. The trainee will perform the work under the supervision of the mentor.
